The world's largest provider of sustainability ratings EcoVadis has awarded PBS Turbo a gold medal in for environmental social and ethical performance.

"goTOzero" - The protection of the environment, particularly with regard to an economic approach with minimum negative impact and net carbon neutrality, is of utmost importance to PBS Turbo & mother company MAN Energy Solutions and is part of its corporate responsibility. We strive for all our products to minimize environmental impact throughout the entire product life cycle - from raw material extraction to the end of life. Compliance with environmental regulations, standards and voluntary commitments is a key requirement of our actions. Our innovative solutions will help to meet the requirements of the Paris Climate Treaty, i.e. to limit global warming to less than 2°C compared to pre-industrial levels and to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.

PBS Turbo carbon emissions reduction target: we have committed to reducing our carbon emissions by 50% in 2030 from a 2018 baseline.
Decrease of CO2 emissions compared to 2018 baseline is 85% actually according to 2023 values. The target is already fulfilled. GHG emission values in tons of CO2 in 2023: Total 324 t, Scope1 direct: 129 t, Scope2 indirect: 195 t. 

As a turbocharger manufacturer, PBS Turbo contributes to reducing the Upstream CO2 emissions Scope 3 of engines makers with efficient turbochargers.
The new TCP series turbochargers that PBST is currently launching have pressure ratios up to 7.O, which can lead to a -5% reduction in specific engine oil consumption compared to the previous TCR series see the link.

PBS Turbo Quality Management System fulfil quality requirements of ISO 9001, Rules of Classification Societies within the International Maritime Organization and Association of American Railroads requirements for Quality Assurance according to M-1003.
